OUR GOATS & SHEEP
The stars of the mini-farm!
With their bleating, their curiosity and their very different personalities, it’s hard to stay at Le Petit Bois without popping in to see our goats and sheep!
They enjoy a large wooded area of around 3,000 m², which blends perfectly into the campsite’s natural surroundings.
Come and watch them throughout the day: some are quietly enjoying the shade of the trees, whilst others keep a close eye on who’s coming and going… especially as mealtime approaches!
Newcomers every year
The mini-farm follows the rhythm of the seasons, and several lambs and kids are born every year at Le Petit Bois.
For children, this is a wonderful opportunity to get to know the young animals, to watch them grow alongside their mothers and, for those who visit regularly, to see them grow over the course of the holidays.
Depending on when you stay, there might well be some new little faces waiting for you!
Come and help with the feeding
It’s one of the children’s favourite activities!
Every morning and afternoon, our team comes to feed and look after the animals. Holidaymakers are welcome to join us for this part of the day and get up close to our goats and sheep.
A little ritual that quickly becomes a holiday highlight!
OUR RABBITS & GUINEA PIGS
The little inhabitants of the mini-farm
Although they’re a bit more shy than our goats and sheep, our rabbits and guinea pigs are also part of the Petit Bois family and are particularly popular with children.
Do take the time to stop and watch them in peace. Our rabbits love to enjoy their space in tranquillity, whilst the guinea pigs know exactly how to make themselves heard with their little squeaks, especially when they realise that feeding time is approaching!
A gentle encounter that allows children to discover these little animals up close and learn to observe them whilst respecting their peace and quiet.
OUR HENS & OUR GEESE
Off to the henhouse!
They cluck, they peck and sometimes… you can hear them all over the mini-farm!
Come and meet our hens and geese and watch them going about their daily lives in the heart of the campsite.
With their different colours, plumage and personalities, our hens are particularly entertaining to watch. Several breeds live together in the henhouse, including Silkie, Peking and Wyandotte hens.
Alongside them, our geese love to live and move about together and are always keeping a close eye on everything going on around them!

With their proud bearing and strong personalities, our geese certainly don’t go unnoticed at the mini-farm!
They’re very sociable with one another, love living in a group and often move about together. Curious and attentive to their surroundings, they’re also quick to make themselves heard to signal your arrival!
Take a few moments to watch them: between their group movements, their interactions and their little rituals, they often put on an entertaining show for young and old alike.
